How a well-run foundation job works

• Licensed as a matter of course. Florida licenses residential construction through the Department of Business and Professional Regulation under Chapter 489, and any licence can be looked up on the DBPR site.
• Warranties in writing. Steel pier systems from established manufacturers carry a product warranty that is typically transferable to a future owner. The installing contractor's workmanship warranty is a separate thing, and both belong in the quote.
